406 Arena Schooling Show October 2020

 

PeeWee Pleasure-Participant can be lead line or under supervision. Meaning able to ride independently with capable helper staying within arm’s length in case assistant is needed and for safety reasons with interaction of other riders. Class will be run as a rail class with commands from the judge.

PeeWee Horsemanship-Participant can be lead line or under supervision. Meaning able to ride independently with capable helper staying within arm’s length in case assistant is needed and for safety reasons with interaction of other riders. Class will be a simple pattern.

Rookie Classes-This class is for horse or rider with 2 years or less show experience. If horse is entered in rookie classes, they are still eligible to compete in other classes in the same division, except for trail.

Colt Classes-Horses must be 5 years old or younger. If horse is entered in colt classes, they are still eligible to compete in other classes in the same division, except for trail.

English Horsemanship Over Fences-Classes will be a horsemanship pattern and will have between 2 to 4 jumps. Jumps maximum height is 18”.

Trail Class-Trail classes will start at noon and will run throughout the afternoon and can be ridden in either english or western. Preference will be given to rail classes in large arena to keep on schedule. Horses may only enter one trail division.

Key Hole Race-This is a timed event. Rider runs between the poles, turns around either direction and runs back through the poles to the finish line. Can be run either english or western.
